Youth Development Through Motorsports
The Bike Is the Classroom
TWK Action Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that uses action sports and motorsports to teach young people something bigger than riding — how to take the tools they've been handed and build a life with them. Whatever your lane in this sport, we help you pick it and back it with a plan.

What We Do
We're Not Trying to Make Every Kid a Racer
Most of our riders will never turn pro. That was never the point — and it was never the only way in, either. The paddock is full of people who built a whole life around this sport without ever being the fastest one there.
What happens on a track is that a kid runs into a problem they can't talk their way out of. The bike doesn't care how they feel about it. It responds to preparation, attention, and honest self-assessment — and it responds immediately. Show up unprepared and you find out in the first corner. Do the work and you feel it the same day.
There aren't many places left where a young person gets that kind of feedback. We think it's the most valuable thing we have to offer, and everything we run is built to deliver it: structured coaching, a progression that only moves when the rider has earned it, and adults who expect something from them.
Ways In
Five Ways to Get Started
TWK Action Sports uses riding, structured challenges, mentorship, education, and competition as a platform for youth development — especially for young people who may not connect with traditional organized sports.

Coach-Led Group Training
Skill Camps
Small-group, coach-led sessions where riders learn to prepare, assess, and adjust. They leave with a skill they didn't have that morning and a clear idea of what they're working on next.

School in the Morning. Track in the Afternoon.
Trackside Academy
Our homeschool program. Academics in the morning, coached on-track training in the afternoon, and a full day built around ownership — of the work, the bike, and the outcome.

Full-Season Support
Elite Rider Program
Full-season support for [5] riders competing regionally and nationally — so the ones who've done the work get to find out how far it goes.

Careers Throughout the Sport
Pathways
Not every dream is on the bike. Mechanic, team manager, announcer, promoter, agent — pick the lane that fits and we'll build the skills and the reps around it.

Grants Toward Gear, Fees & Tuition
Rider Scholarships
The tools this sport runs on are expensive. You can apply for a grant that covers gear, camp fees, entries, or a full season — with a written plan behind it.
What the Sport Teaches
What a Kid Actually Takes Home
TWK Action Sports is a youth-focused nonprofit created to provide meaningful opportunities through motorsports, rider development, mentorship, education, and competition — especially for young people who may not connect with traditional organized sports. TWK uses safe, structured, accessible riding and racing experiences to build real character and life skills.
Preparation
A bike that wasn't checked will tell you so at the worst possible moment. Riders learn that the work you do before matters more than the effort you make during. That habit doesn't stay at the track.
Ownership
Nobody else can ride it for you. When it goes well, that's yours. When it doesn't, that's yours too. We coach kids to look at a bad session honestly instead of looking for who to blame — which is a skill most adults never develop.
Judgment under pressure
Riders are constantly reading conditions, assessing risk, and deciding what they can handle today. That's not recklessness. It's the opposite, and it's the single most transferable thing this sport builds
Mechanical literacy
How things work. How to diagnose a problem instead of guessing at it. How to fix something with your hands. Some of our riders will build careers on this alone.
Resilience that's actually earned
Every rider gets thrown, stalls on the gate, or has a day where nothing works. They get up, figure out what went wrong, and go again. You can't teach that in a classroom. You can only put a kid somewhere it happens and coach them through it.
FIND YOUR LANE
Not Every Dream Has a Number Plate
Walk through any paddock on a race weekend and count the people. A handful of them are riders. Everybody else — the mechanics, the team managers, the announcer, the promoter who put the event together, the agent on the phone, the medics, the fabricators, the photographers, the crew building the track at 5 a.m. — is there because this is what they do for a living
Most young people have never been told that's an option. They think there's exactly one job in motorsports and you either get it or you don't.
TWK is for anyone who wants a life in this sport. If you want to ride, we'll coach you. If you're the kid who'd rather have the bike apart on the stand than be on it, we'll put you with a mechanic. If you can't stop talking about racing, we'll hand you a microphone. If you're the one organizing everybody else, there's a promoter's path for that.
You choose the direction. We build the plan around it and give you skills that keep you doing the thing you love — whether or not you're ever the fastest person at the track.

A DREAM WITH A PLAN BEHIND IT
Wanting It Isn't Enough.
We Help Build the Plan.
Ask a twelve-year-old at a track what they want and a lot of them will tell you they want to go pro. That's a good thing. What usually happens next is nothing — because nobody in the picture knows what the next twelve months are supposed to look like, and the cost of finding out is more than the family can risk.
So we don't just tell kids to chase it. We sit down with the rider and the family and write it out: where the rider is now, what they're working on this season, which camps and events fit, what equipment it takes, what it will realistically cost, and which of that TWK can cover.
Then we hold them to it — and they hold us to it too.
A plan turns a dream into a set of Tuesdays. That's the difference between a kid who talks about racing and a kid who's actually getting better, and it's the same skill they'll use at eighteen, at twenty-five, and every time they want something that's further away than they can see.
Why It Matters
The Tools Are Expensive.
Not Every Kid Gets the Same Ones.
The tools required for motorsports are expensive — bikes, gear, entries, travel, track time. TWK doesn't stop at encouragement. We help young people pursue the path they actually want, with real support that makes the sport accessible.
